So today is snow, lots of snow which I'm coming to peace with now that Connor is safely home from preschool. So I was going through Connor's backpack before sending him back to school today and apparently yesterday he earned a good listener award. (It's pretty adorable it's blue with these little kids sitting in a circle listening). Anyway, for him, this is just amazing. So Connor loves school. Last night's soccer game was rougher than the first one. Connor fell asleep in the car while we were driving to pick up Bruce and so he was cranky and it took awhile for him to really get into the game. So mom was here visiting and it was wonderful. The boys loved having her here (Ian was near inconsolable after we dropped her off at the airport). So this morning I am very thankful for Bruce. We had a rough night last night and he took the bulk of it on himself so I could sleep because he loves me and because he saw I was coming down with something and wanted me to sleep while I could. So, my dad came over on Sunday and it was actually a lot of fun. I'm not sure what caused the change in attitude from what I usually get but it was really great to see them and they seemed genuinely happy to see the boys which was great! So our plans for our Hawaii vacation continue. We already had our tickets (yay for frequent flyer miles!) and yesterday we finally made our accommodation reservations.
